Ally is a coastal Mississippi native who’s called Alabama home for the past twenty years. A homeschool mom to two wildly energetic girls, she’s also married to an Italian American pizza snob. After nearly a decade in youth and college ministry, Ally traded late-night theology debates for early-morning read-alouds at the kitchen table. She’s a deep thinker who geeks out over psychology, the brain, and women in church history.

Now an audiobook producer and podcast producer for Owl’s Nest Publishers, Ally is also the creative force behind two of her own shows: Turning Back the Pages, where she chats with children’s book authors about the stories that shaped them, and an investigative series launching late 2025 that dives into the evolving landscape of Alabama’s libraries. Behind the scenes, she’s working on books of her own for both children and adults. She loves a good story—whether found in books, history, or the people she meets along the way.
